‘Mistakes are part of football’: Mikel Arteta defends David Raya following his blunder against Lens in the Champions League

Saka was forced off in Arsenal’s Champions League encounter with Lens on Tuesday night. He provided an assist for the Gunners first goal.

But Arteta’s side couldn’t maintain their lead, eventually losing 2-1 after fulltime.

Odegaard reacting to Saka’s injury said:

“We still have some great players, but I think every team in the world would miss Bukayo. But we have to see what happens in the next few days. Hopefully it’s not too bad and he’s going to be ready.”
